Ominous Horizons
General Technical Issues:
THE GAME WON'T RUN AFTER INSTALLATION
Q: I am having problems after I install the game. It just freezes
at the Genesis 3D screen.
A: This is easy to fix! Just go to the "Program Compatibility
Wizard" in your accessories menu. Using that tool, just set the game to
run in the "Windows 98" mode. It should run great after that!
VIDEO DRIVER ISSUES
Make sure the most current version of
DirectX is installed on your
computer. DirectX 8.0a is included on the Ominous Horizons CD.
Make sure you have installed the most recent drivers for all your
hardware before playing Ominous Horizons. (Visit www.driverzone.com to download
the most current drivers for your hardware.)
Due to the high quality of graphics throughout Ominous Horizons, some
video cards may experience problems running in a high resolution mode. We
suggest that you lower the resolution of the card until the problems are
resolved.
At this time Ominous Horizons does not support Open GL.
GLIDE DRIVER
Restoring Ominous Horizons from a minimized or Alt-Tabbed state while running
the Glide driver can result in a game lock-up.
