Hereth-Herman is a 3D

2000, with several years of 3D artistry for other companies. She says of
her job here, "this is the best ever!" Mikaila really enjoys her job as
you can see. Before she came to N'Lightning she worked on 3D
architectural walk throughs and business presentations. Aside from her
job there are a number of other things that she loves to do. Spending
time with her fiancé and their new puppy are at the top of the list.

Thomas "The Rage"
DeLong is a 3d artist who joined the team in 2002. Thomas worked in the
construction industry for 10 years. During that time, he decided it was
time to exercise his mind and give his body a rest. Tom has 2 children:
Alicia 7, and Ian 4. Tom likes the outdoors and physical activities,
watching movies and being goofy. His immediate goals are to go skydiving
within the next year, win more at Quake, and to do the best 3d that he
can. Long term goals: To stay in the gaming industry and to eventually
get into real estate. God bless us all! |

Nathan Jacobs was born
and raised in the Suburbs of Chicago, with a continual enthusiasm for
the fine arts. Following high school he went on to study fine arts
painting on scholarship at the Maryland Institute College of Art in
Baltimore Maryland—at the time one of the top three painting schools in
the country. In his third year there, he transferred to Trinity
International University to study philosophy in accord with newly
acquired and growing interests that resulted from his conversion to the
Christian faith in 1996. While there he met Heather Borth, who is now
his wife of two years. In addition, he went on to present a series of
papers at various prestigious Ph.D. level philosophy/theology
conferences while still an undergraduate. In 2001 he completed his BA
as a double major in the humanities (emphasis on fine arts) and
philosophy. He is presently bringing to a close (from a distance) his
MA in Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School under
Kevin Vanhoozer and Doug Sweeney. His thesis is on the problem of evil
and is title Beyond Augustine: Toward a Quasi-Thomistic Theodicy.
He works as a 2-D artist/illustrator here at N’Lightning Software; and
lives in Medford Oregon with his wife and first child—Anastasia Grace. |
